Our Goal is to unite all sections of the Maranoa and bring a local radio service into unserved and underserved area’s our in our region and region adjacent.
Members of M.R.N.I. assist with Switch FM’s Community Switch. Please note the community Switch needs a good 2 – 3 weeks notice.

The objects of the association are —
Provide a Local Radio Service for the towns within the Maranoa. - Provide Services to towns with no station or poor coverage. - To provide real time local emergency information - To provide community information - To acquire radio licenses within the Maranoa License Area Plan - To Uphold Governing Body Guidelines e.g. C.B.A.A., A.C.M.A. Etc. - To provide accessible to all parts of the community. - To provide radio training and development career opportunities - To support the aims and initiatives of other community government related groups - To apply for Grants to grow radio diversity in the Maranoa.

Black Spot Infill
Further black spot reduction of coverage in the Maranoa has begun with our first project Wallumbilla 87.6 FM this town now has a direct link to the Roma Studios and Yuleba you can switch from 89.5 FM Yuleba to 87.6 FM Wallumbilla and then from the Pickanjinnie Turtle or beyond to 95.9 FM Roma

Our goal is to promote your not-for-profit event, Updates for the entire Maranoa, Services and community Updates from sources such as the Queensland Police Service, Maranoa Regional Council, QFES and Life FLight to name just a few
